Matt Harrison signed an above average contract starting in 2013 for a total of $55 Million –
The terrible news is he never pitched more than 17 innings in a year after this contract but what turned out nicely for Texas is they ended up trading him to the Phillies who ended up paying him a large sum of money to never throw a single pitch for them.
I wish we all could experience a major league baseball contract just once in our lives.
